For over 25 years, Laura J. O’Neal has been teaching communications, business start-up, customer service, non-profit Board/Staff training, and many basic and advanced mediation and conflict resolution subjects. As a certified mediator for over 15 years, Laura has hundreds of hours of mediation experience. She helps conflicted parties get past their fixed positions and strong emotions in order to ascertain their interests and achieve real resolution, not just settlement. Laura mediates family, business, and victim/offender cases. Laura specializes in highly emotional family cases. Her highly developed skill and ability to listen and question, even in the presence of strong negative emotions is her centerpiece.
Laura served as Executive Director and lead trainer for a Non-Profit Mediation Center for seven years. Laura teaches a 40-hour Basic Mediation Class, Advanced Family Mediation, Communication Skills and Conflict Resolution Skills for the Workplace and Guided Listening Classes.

Instructor, Peninsula College, Port Angeles WA Laura taught the Entrepreneurial Program from 1999 to 2002. She guest teaches in the Drug and Alcohol Counselor Program as well as Conflict Resolution in Environmental Studies Program at the college.
Laura is an executive coach working with managers and owners across many sectors of commerce, from entertainment to healthcare in areas of leadership, accountability and communication. Laura also works with private individuals and couples who find themselves stuck and looking for a path forward.
In her off time, she enjoys all types of comedy and performs her improvisational One Woman Show where she lends her unique perspective on everyday life.
